I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter this run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, tripping, contact with other participants and their dogs, effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and conditions of the road/course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON A LEASH. OWNERS ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING CONTROL OF THEIR DOG(S). Having read this waiver and knowing these facts in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Seattle and its sponsors, agents, officers, representatives, volunteers, employees, Milliseconds Computer Services, LLC. and Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation from all liability arising out of any and all claims, demands, losses,damages, suits, actions, judgment of any kind and description which may occur to or be suffered by me as the race participant by reason of activities arising out of this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in the waiver.
I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recording and other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
