The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 8,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!



 
Droolin' and Rulin'

At Projectline Services, we have a deep passion and commitment toward helping others. As the team affectionately known as Droolin' and Rulin', we intend to raise as much money as possible for the Seattle Animal Shelter by running our hind quarters off at this year's Furry 5K.

Please help us support those poor little pound puppies and kittens. They need food, care, a good home, and love--just like the rest of us. It's shelters like this one that have enabled some of us to find our very best friends.

I met Auntie while I was running a friend's dog in the Furry 5K in 2007. I've loved her since the moment I laid eyes on her in that little "Adopt Me" vest when she was 6 months old. I try to run her in the Furry 5K every year to commemorate how we met. But Auntie is a hard charger. There's something about the competition that gets her all fired up, and it's all I can do to stay upright and not get dragged face down in the gutter. This year, I will again do my best to try to keep up with my dog, and not clothes line anyone with the leash.
