The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 8,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

hey guys im carlos gallardo and I'm here in support of the furry 5k run. I know what your thinking run ? UGHH well good news is you can join me in the run or you can donate to my fundraiser which goes in to direct compliance with the funds supporting this organization which after all is what this run is all about.
a little bit about me is I'm 20 and in the United States Navy and I as well as the rest of my shipmates we all have pets of our own my two happen to be small dogs (libby and brownie) =].The NAVY supports this cause so me and my fellow sailors from the USS NIMITZ are going to be running this 5k in support of our furry friends.
so i invite everyone to come run with us as well as make a donation to my page so we can reach our financial goal of $10,000 with your help this can be possible it only takes a single individual to make the difference. HOOOYAHHH NAVY!!!!
