The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 8,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Dog Grrl's Story

Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization. Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference in a shelter animal's life. The money that you donate will go specifically to a fund for the dog/cat food, supplies and medical needs at the Seattle Animal Shelter, through the Furry 5K. Hopefully, with your help I will reach my goal of around $300 dollars. This will greatly benefit the less fortunate animals that need help recovering, being found and staying well. Thank you for your consideration in taking part in my fundraiser. I hope that you will remember that even the smallest donation counts!!!
