Team Sadie's Story
Our kitty Sadie was surrendered to SAS in the winter of 2010. A kitten, she crawled into a car engine to stay warm on a cold night. Unfortunately, she suffered severe injuries after the car was started in the morning. Two days after her injury, she was surrendered to SAS to be euthanized. Lucky for Sadie, an amazing SAS officer rushed her to an emergency vet. After surgery to amputate most of her tail and multiple stitches, she was sent to foster care. We were her foster parents for part of her recovery, and she found her forever home with us. Our fundraising page is named Team Sadie, after our sweet kitty that would not be with us today without the HTAF.
