The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Princess's mom
I will be walking in support of Princess and all of her animal friendz. I found her at 5 weeks old covered in motor oil. She was captured and on her way to the shelter when I intervened and rescued her. 14 years later she is still a monumental fixture in my life. I wish I could rescue more, but in the mean time I will spread the word and help financially until I am able to bring more home. Thank you so much for any contribution. Really, any amount does help. >^..^<
