The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!



 
Iheartdogs

Just a group of dog lovers looking to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation. This past winter I tragically lost my 4 year old chocolate lab Elsie. In part this run is in remembrance of how truly special she was, and also, for all the special dogs out there looking for their forever homes. Please join "Iheartdogs" and donate to the Seattle Animal Shelter in honor of your special furry friends.

Archie and I were used to running with Elsie, she'd keep us in line. But now we're trying to figure things out together. We're building up to our 5k on June 9th for the Seattle Animal Shelter. In honor of Elsie, we are trying to help out as many animals as we can-- please join us!
