The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Please join me in the fundraising effort for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation's Help The Animals Fund.
My goal is to raise $500.00 for the fund, which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals. Even if you can only donate $5, I would appreciate it. Every bit helps!

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to saving the lives of animals through adoption, foster care, spay and neuter programs, law enforcement and community outreach. I adopted both of my cats from this shelter and have been a volunteer there for 7 years now. I have seen firsthand how important it is to have funds available to help the animals who would not be able to be adopted without medical care.
