The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Hey Everyone!

Once again Projectline will be sponsoring a team in the Furry 5K! You can walk, run, jog – with or without a dog – to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter. We have participated for a few years now and it’s always a great time for a good cause.

Last year was such a blast, we were able to raise the most money as a team for this wonderful cause, and were able to bond as a company! Help us defend that title, while helping our Shelters in the process.

Seven years ago, I was running a friend's dog in the Furry 5K when I met Auntie (she was named Isa at the time). Auntie was there wearing a little reflective "ADOPT ME" vest. She was a 6-month-old big, black Rottweiler-looking dog from the Kent Animal Shelter that had been adopted... and then brought back to the shelter. Her chances weren't looking good. But for me, it was love at first sight. I've run Auntie in this race every year to celebrate the day we found each other. She's the best. Pound dogs need love.
