The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!



 
Team Kora

We are Hillman City neighbors and friends of Kora the cat. Kora was killed in our neighborhood on or about May 16, 2014. We are still in shock at the loss of our sweet friend, but we take comfort in knowing that others cared about Kora too. That's why we're inviting you to walk with us on June 8.

We also take comfort in supporting work that protects other animals in our community from needless suffering—so even if you can't join us on the 8th, please consider contributing to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation through this page.
