The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Team Member Stories

Amory on the Run
We're running/walking to honor Amory, a missing Cattle Dog/German Shepherd mix. Amory went missing on June 21, 2013 from Fife, WA and was last seen September 2, 2013. Amory's mom and kitten miss her desperately. Amory's kitten, Oliver, was adopted from Seattle Humane and Amory was adopted from From Stetson with Love Rescue along with her new brother, Duke. We hold out hope that Amory is somewhere. Amory is the world's sweetest girl and we know we'll see her again soon.
