The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Help me in fundraising for team Team Otis and Archie

 Brian and Pamela both are dog lovers and have very unique dogs and how we came to own our babbies.   We want to be one of the top fundraising teams this year and are setting a goal of raising $5000 dollars for the Help the Animal Fund and the Seattle Animal Shelter.   If you are planning on walking or doing the 16th annual Furry 5k please join out team and help us by asking your friends to donate to this great cause.   We will accept anyone who wants to join our team.   Like I said we are dog lovers but also believe in the Seattle Animal Shelter and what they do for the animals that come to them in need of shelter and care.   It is a rewarding job and stand strong with what service the provide to our community.   So please Donate to our cause.   Also if you work for a company who would donate a gift card or something to help us in collecting donations for our plant sale in mid may where we hope to raise a lot of money at this event.  If you would like to help in other ways I would like to have a car wash but need people to help me do this one weekend.
