The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

We will be carrying a sign with us when we walk to honor all of our past/present pets that have brought us so much joy. Please include the name of your pets in your donation comments so that we can add them to our list!

Help me in fundraising for my team The Mooch Monsters. We have adopted both of our dogs Mooch and Princess Vespa. Adopting shelter dogs is so important to us and we want to do whatever we can to help them. Frequently shelter dogs need medical attention and even healthy dogs need food and beds. Even if you can't donate money towels, blankets, food and toys are all great ways to donate. We are so glad and lucky that we have two great pets that bring such joy into our lives.
