The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!



 
Seattle Animal Shelter is Near and dear to my heart. One of Enzo's (and Zerene's) favorite humans has been volunteering there for years, running the doggo's that need exercise, and I've been known to lend a hand here and there when needed. Seattle Animal Shelter is a great organization that provides care to and takes in thousands of pets annually, and they cannot provide care for these animals without support from donations and fundraising. The Furry 5K is a GREAT event that raises money for this fabulous organization and Enzo and I love to walk (maybe run this year a little) this beautiful 5K course at Seward Park in Seattle. Please help me raise at least $100 for this great organization!
