The Furry 5K raises money for the Help the Animals Fund (HTAF), which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 6,000 animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Please join us for the Furry 5K fundraising effort which helps support our close neighbor and all that they do, The Seattle Animal Shelter!

The Seattle Animal Shelter gives the best care possible to all animals in their care until they are adopted into their new homes and we support them and their cause 100%.

The Family Pet Veterinary Clinic has been a staple in the Ballard Community for over 70 years and our motto "Where Pets are Family Too" says it all. Whether a pet was just rescued, in foster care, recently adopted, or newly born we support them just like we do any animal brought through our doors. 

We love to do everything we can to help the Seattle Animal Shelter which is why the Furry 5K fundraising effort is so close to our hearts! We understand that you may not be able to adopt or foster, but we do ask that you open up your hearts and pocket books or even put on your walking shoes to help better the lives of these wonderful fur-babies and support them on their quest to find forever homes. :)

Whatever donation you are able to make will truly impact their lives and care! Feel free to donate any dollar amount over $5 through this webpage or come say hello to The Family Pet Team and drop off any spare change hanging around at the bottom of your purse or wallet into our donation box.

It takes a village and no donation is too large or too small.
