We adopted our cat, Libby, from Seattle Animal Shelter in 2014. Libby had been rehomed 2 previous times, before we adopted her. She is funny, quirky, loving and gentle and I cannot imagine why someone would give her away. Seattle Animal Shelter took her in, loved her, and allowed us to adopt her in her now forever home. Seattle Animal Shelter also supports the Girl Scouts, and when my kids were younger, we went there to earn badges and to learn more about animal rescue and volunteering. Help me raise money so they can continue to love and care for animals in need AND to continue to teach our kids about the value of love, kindness and volunteering in our communities.
