Team Barry

Barry and I met at the Furry 5K in 2017. He was an adoptable puppy with a floppy ear, and I was a lady looking for love. I don't know how I made it past the five names ahead of mine on his list of potential future families, but I knew when I met him that we were going to be best friends. We're raising money for all the other animals our there waiting for their forever homes.


The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.
