The Seattle Animal Shelter Thursday Afternoon Dog Team invites you to join us in supporting the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation. These funds are essential to making the Shelter a safe and humane place for animals in Seattle. License fees cover just basic staffing and building maintenance. The Foundation covers vet services for injured or sick animals, a full time animal behaviorist, toys and special supplies among other things. These are not "extras", they are essentials. Please help in any way you can.


The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.
