The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

Help me in fundraising for my team!  I've had the good fortune of working with the Seattle Animal Shelter for over 10 years now, and the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation has been alongside us at every step of the way.  Their generous grants have given shelter animals and shelter staff opportunities that most municipal shelters can only dream of. Help me in fundraising for my team SAS Team.  As a 20 year employee of the Seattle Animal Shelter I can speak personally to the incredible work this organization is doing, how far we've come and I can tell you without any doubt that we would not be able to provide the level of care and rehabilitation for the animals most in need when they need us most without the continued support of the Help The Animals Fund and the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation!
