One year ago, I volunteered to take photos of the 2019 Furry 5K in Seward Park. Fast forward to today — 365 days and a pandemic later — I'm now a member of the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation's volunteer marketing committee tasked to help promote the VIRTUAL 2020 Furry 5K. What a turn of events!

I love animals... and the animals at the Seattle Animal Shelter need our help. Please give whatever you can to help save the lives of these lovable, deserving creatures in our community.


The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.
