I hope you will consider a $10 donation to support an amazing organization where I am a volunteer dog walker -- lol I love it so much I did extra shifts this past winter even though there was record breaking rainfall.
 
While Seattle Animal Shelter is a city program, a lot of the extra services are supported by funds raised here.  For example, meet Frosty (not dog in pic with me), he came from the Humane Society of Tacoma and needed surgery to restore mobility in his hip and back left after being hit by a car. Unfortunately Tacoma Humane couldn't provide the specialized care so he was transferred and he rec'd a lot of vet care vis SAS and these funds.  Due to his complicated injuries, his back leg did not regain functioning post surgery so he went back under the knife and became a tripod.  Besides this care, he found his forever family via SAS and is now cool pals with his besty tripod cat friend.  If we pool together several $10 donations we could help the next Frosty who comes to SAS and needs critical specialized surgery.   


The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.
