Furriends, start your engines!

This year's Furry 5K is more important than ever - animal cruelty investigations are up, and the shelter needs our help to make sure every animal in Seattle has the care and attention they deserve.

Join me in walking the Furry 5K on June 13th! Since it's a virtual event, you'll have the whole week to run/walk/skip/cycle the 5K. I'm looking into local parks/routes where my team can get together to walk on the 13th, but even if you can't or don't want to run, you can join and donate!

The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.
