We are the Seattle Animal Shelter staff team. We know first hand how valuable your support of this event is! Please join us in the fundraising effort for the 2021 Furry 5K!


The Furry 5K raises money for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and initiatives of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in thousands of animals annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies.

The Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of the Seattle Animal Shelter.

I've had the honor of working with the Seattle Animal Shelter for over 11 years. Every day this organization, staff, volunteers and community show up to help the city's animals. We've been fortunate to have the full support of the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, as well. We could not make the difference we do without everyone's help.
